Hi guys and welcome to Graduwaiting! For so many, life beyond the educational system feels extremely alien and overwhelming. Platforms such as LinkedIn make the transition seem fluid and easy when in reality, so many people are left in the dark. Numerous rejection emails, not knowing what to do or where to apply to all amount to an under discussed stress. Whether you’re a graduate seeking permanent employment or a graduate-in-waiting hoping to apply for internships and schemes, Danni and I have set this space up for you. Please don’t hesitate to ask any questions and we look forward to creating a community so that no one feels alone during this period.

I’m Danni, co-founder of Graduwaiting. Issy and I decided to set up this platform as a safe space for graduates and students to talk, chat and discuss what’s going on in their lives career-wise. Whether that’s asking for help with interview prep, looking for connections within a particular sector that could help them, or simply being honest about their career journey and how they are feeling about it.
The aim of this platform is not to boast about our achievements, as that seems to be what LinkedIn is all about, but rather help each other out on our own personal journeys from undergrads to graduates to employees. It’s about supporting one another through the great and the hard times, providing as much guidance and advice to one another and really understanding that YOU ARE NOT ALONE in this employment journey.
